Peter Bonett has over 34 years of experience in taxation compliance including twenty years as a senior executive at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), predominantly in the Energy and Resources sector. As an Assistant Commissioner, Peter led the former Large Business Energy & Resources Segment and was responsible for developing and implementing strategy for income tax compliance. Peter has also worked as a consultant for the IMF and conducted a mission to assist China. Peter is always keen to see the tax system work fairly for all and advocates very strongly to see it achieved.

In his spare time Peter is a musician, enjoys drawing caricatures and follows the Essendon Football Club.
